Effective Ways To Get Rid Of The Weight Loss Stretch Marks

Stretch marks are mainly found in the abdominal wall, but can also occur over the thighs, upper arms, buttocks and breasts. Sometimes stretch marks can cover large areas of the body. I have a lot of stretch marks, and I bet many of you out there have. The reason that I have them is sudden gain and loss in weight. If you prevent them, it is great, but when you actually have them, it is very hard to get rid of them.


Stretch marks can make you feel self-conscious and uncomfortable about your appearance. Fortunately, there are several natural ways to reduce the appearance of stretch marks. I read about them, and I started using them a week ago. I don’t know if they are effective, but people who used them say these home remedies helped them. So, you don’t lose by trying. Here they are:


1. Olive Oil

Aloe Vera is effective in the treatment of many skin problems such as burns and other scars. Because of the reason that the stretch marks are a type of scars, caused by stretched skin. Aloe vera has various essential nutrients and active compounds that can be used in the treatment to get rid of stretch marks. So you can directly rub aloe vera gel on the affected skin area, leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse the skin with lukewarm water, or you can mix it with vitamin E and vitamin A capsules in oil.

3. Potato Juice

Potato juice contains vitamins and minerals that foster growth and restoration of skin cells. So what you wanna do, is cut a potato into thick slices, and then rub them gently on the stretch mark areas for a few minutes. Make sure the liquid from the potato covers them.


4. Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter is also very beneficial in treating stretch marks. If you apply cocoa butter over the affected area at least two times a day, after one to two months, the marks will be less visible.

5. Sugar

Natural white sugar is one of the best natural remedies to get rid of stretch marks. You can use the sugar to exfoliate your skin. So you can mix a tablespoon of raw sugar with some almond oil and a few drops of lemon juice, and apply it on the stretch marks. Gently rub for 10 minutes, and at the end take a shower.
